Our Story
After earning his bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Michigan State University, Jim Gordon founded Gordon’s Tree & Shrub in 1989. What began as a small, local operation has grown into a successful family business built on expertise, hard work, and a lasting commitment to quality tree care. Most recently, Jim’s son expanded the business to Northern Michigan, proudly serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Traverse City area.
